Effective Date: August 3, 2026 Last Updated: August 3, 2026 Issued by: OnRoady LLC, a California limited liability company
OnRoady is committed to making the OnRoady mobile application and website accessible to people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility standards we target, the known limitations of the current release, and how to reach us when something does not work for you.
1. Conformance Target
We aim for the OnRoady mobile application and the onroady.app website to substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
Where WCAG 2.1 does not translate cleanly to native mobile patterns, we follow the platform accessibility guidance for iOS (Human Interface Guidelines — Accessibility) and Android (Material Design — Accessibility) that most closely reflects the same principle.
2. What Works Today
The following aspects of the Service have been designed with accessibility in mind and are verified in each release:
- Screen readers. Every interactive control has an
accessibilityLabelandaccessibilityRole. We test with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android before each release. - Text scaling. The app respects the operating system's Dynamic Type / Font Size setting up to at least 200%. Layouts reflow rather than clipping.
- Colour contrast. Body text against its background meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio in both light and dark themes. Large text and icons meet or exceed 3:1.
- Focus order. Screen-reader focus order matches visual order.
- Keyboard navigation on web. All actions on the onroady.app marketing site are reachable by keyboard.
- Motion reduction. The app respects the OS-level "Reduce Motion" preference for map animations and screen transitions.
- Captions and audio. The service does not rely on sound for critical information. Recording playback, when introduced, will include automatic caption generation.
- Time-sensitive actions. Actions with countdowns (for example, bounty claim windows) provide clear time remaining and offer the ability to extend or dismiss.
3. Known Limitations
The following areas do not yet meet our WCAG 2.1 AA target. Fixes are planned and tracked internally:
- Live map animations. The bounty-availability pulse animation on the driver map screen is not currently pausable independent of the OS "Reduce Motion" setting. Users who need finer control can disable Reduce Motion in system settings.
- Video playback controls. Custom video playback controls do not yet expose all accessibility properties available on native players. We use native players wherever possible; the two exception screens are the review-video overlay and the bounty-preview thumbnail.
- Photo capture flow. The dashcam capture screen shows a live-preview overlay whose framing guides are announced but not spoken continuously as the user pans. Blind users can still record; the recording proceeds unaffected.
- Complex forms in landscape. A small number of onboarding forms may crop labels in landscape orientation on devices under 5 inches. Portrait orientation is fully supported.
4. Assistive Technologies We Test With
We routinely test with:
- iOS — VoiceOver, Voice Control, Switch Control, Zoom, Dynamic Type.
- Android — TalkBack, Voice Access, Switch Access, Font Size, Display Size.
- Web (onroady.app) — VoiceOver on macOS Safari, NVDA on Windows Firefox, Chrome DevTools accessibility auditor.
5. Third-Party Content
Some components of the Service are provided by third parties. Their accessibility is outside our direct control, and we rely on those providers' own accessibility commitments:
- Stripe — payment forms, tax onboarding (W-9).
- Supabase — nothing user-facing on the mobile client.
- Cloudflare R2 — no user-facing UI.
- Google Maps / MapLibre — map tiles and geocoding on the driver map screen.
- Twilio — SMS delivery only.
If a third-party component blocks your access to an OnRoady feature, please tell us using the contact information in Section 8 and we will find an alternate path.
6. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of the Service. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or you need help with a specific feature, please contact us. We will respond within five business days and will offer a workaround or alternate access channel while we work on a fix.

If you need an accessible alternative to a specific document (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Biometric Retention Policy, AB 5 Addendum), we will provide the content in the format you request (plain text, large print, or spoken audio) at no charge.
7. Enforcement Notice — Americans with Disabilities Act
OnRoady is a place of public accommodation under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. § 12181 et seq.). Nothing in this statement is intended to disclaim or limit your rights under the ADA, the Unruh Civil Rights Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 51 et seq.), or any comparable state or federal law.
If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice at ada.gov or with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing at dfeh.ca.gov.

9. Assessment Approach
This statement reflects an internal self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 AA. We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit. We plan to obtain an independent VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) evaluation within twelve months of general availability.
10. Updates
We review this statement at least once a year and after every material design change to the Service. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
